You will get the most likely result if you measure clothes you already wear that fit you well. The measurements given in the tables in the product descriptions are in centimetres and are measured without stretching. The measurements are for reference only. In reality, they may vary minimally. When choosing your size, please take into account the elasticity and material properties.
Illustrative examples of how we measure the different types of clothing:
T-SHIRTS
- length is measured from shoulder to hem
- the width is measured horizontally across the widest part of the chest
UNDERSHIRTS
- length is measured from the shoulders to the bottom hem vests
- width is measured horizontally across the widest part of the chest
CORSETS
- corset length is measured from the underarm to the bottom hem (measured strapless!)
- width is measured horizontally across the widest part of the chest
SHIRTS
- shirt length is measured from the shoulders to the hem
- the width is measured horizontally across the widest part of the chest
SWEATSHIRTS
- sleeve length is measured from the end of the sleeve to the underarm
- measured horizontally across the width of the widest point of the chest
SWEATERS
- sleeve length is measured from the collar to the bottom hem
- measured horizontally across the width of the widest point on the chest
JACKETS
- sleeve length is measured from the edge to the sleeve underarm
- jacket width measured horizontally across the widest part of the chest
PANTS
- pants length measured laterally on the leg (from waist to the bottom hem of legs)
- the pants width is measured horizontally around the waist (reduced sizing) - measured at the narrowest point
DRESS
- dress length is measured from the underarm to the bottom hem
- dress width measured over the breast
